EnQ Digital's infrastructure project combines 11 enterprise servers, 440 physical cores, ~4 TB of RAM and 165 TB of All-Flash Storage across two Ascenty Data Centers to support UNUN Sistemas' mission-critical services
Fortaleza, August 2026 — UNUN Sistemas, a Brazilian company specialized in cybersecurity, access management and technology for corporate environments, chose EnQ Digital to host the infrastructure responsible for sustaining part of its mission-critical services.
The initiative establishes two technology environments, in Fortaleza and São Paulo, creating an infrastructure foundation ready to support corporate applications that demand security, performance, availability and operational predictability.
The environments are located at the Ascenty Fortaleza Data Center and the Ascenty São Paulo Data Center. The project brings together enterprise servers, next-generation firewalls, 10 GbE networks and different storage layers, including All-Flash Storage and high-performance local resources.
Technology that protects critical environments
UNUN develops solutions for secure access management to corporate technologies, allowing companies to control users, administrators, suppliers and third parties who need to access critical IT resources. Its platform includes features for credential protection, authentication, session control, auditing, access approval and integration with different technologies used in the corporate environment.
For a platform directly associated with security and access control, the infrastructure that sustains the operation takes on a strategic role. Availability, integrity, performance and operational continuity become part of the experience delivered to clients.
Two environments to sustain UNUN's operation
The architecture contracted with EnQ Digital comprises two hubs — the Ascenty Fortaleza Data Center and the Ascenty São Paulo Data Center — forming a distributed foundation to sustain UNUN's mission-critical services.
Across both environments, the platform brings together 11 enterprise servers, approximately 4 TB of aggregated RAM and 440 physical processing cores. In Fortaleza, the 165 TB All-Flash Storage concentrates a dedicated high-performance storage layer; in São Paulo, the technical scope includes local NVMe/DAS storage.
The total capacity of the São Paulo environment's NVMe/DAS layer was not disclosed in the source material for this release.
A distributed infrastructure foundation between Fortaleza and São Paulo
Having environments in two locations gives UNUN a technology foundation to organize workloads, capacity and continuity policies according to the criticality of each service. The physical design alone does not define a Disaster Recovery strategy; it creates the basis for replication, contingency and recovery mechanisms to be implemented according to UNUN's operational policies.
Security and connectivity
Corporate firewalls make up the perimeter protection layer of the environments. In Fortaleza, the scope provides for high-availability (HA) operation. 10 GbE connectivity on the servers expands communication capacity between applications and services, while 16 Gbps Fibre Channel interfaces support integration with compatible storage layers.
Processing and storage
The 11 enterprise servers form the project's processing foundation. The Fortaleza environment concentrates higher memory density per host and uses 165 TB of All-Flash Storage. The São Paulo environment adds six servers, SAS disks and a local NVMe/DAS layer, expanding the computing capacity available in another location.
Infrastructure as part of security
In the project's view, cybersecurity software and infrastructure are not independent layers: performance, availability and operational predictability directly influence the quality of the service delivered. EnQ Digital takes responsibility for the infrastructure foundation, while UNUN concentrates its expertise on the platform, access controls and client experience.
“UNUN develops technology directly tied to the security and continuity of its clients' operations. That demands an infrastructure with the same level of commitment. Our role is to deliver a robust, secure foundation ready to grow, so UNUN can focus its efforts on evolving the platform, serving clients and growing the business.”

Key gains from the architecture
The project brings together four gains for UNUN's operation:
- Capacity: 440 physical cores and approximately 4 TB of aggregated RAM across both environments.
- Security: firewalls and infrastructure segmentation to support critical services.
- Performance: 10 GbE networks, 16 Gbps Fibre Channel and All-Flash/NVMe-DAS storage.
- Flexibility: two environments allow workloads to be distributed and continuity policies to evolve as needed.
UNUN + EnQ Digital
The partnership brings together two companies with complementary capabilities. UNUN Sistemas operates in the security, access, software and technology-environment management layer. EnQ Digital operates the infrastructure responsible for keeping those systems available, offering Cloud, Data Center, processing, storage, connectivity and infrastructure for critical applications.
With environments at the Ascenty Fortaleza and Ascenty São Paulo Data Centers, the project now has an infrastructure presence in two locations. This foundation supports the operation's growth and organizes the evolution of services according to UNUN's technical and business requirements.
For EnQ Digital, the partnership reinforces its role as an infrastructure provider for Cybersecurity, SaaS, software and mission-critical digital service companies.
